For those of you wondering about my recent radio silence, I've been working on a personal project which I'm finally ready to release.

Announcing:

I've been up until 2 am the last several nights, putting together the content and design. I still want to add or improve several elements (including some I hoped to have in the initial launch), but I do feel it's polished enough to go public.

Tomorrow morning, I'm heading to the exhibit hall at the ALA Midwinter conference. I've got 1000 promotional bookmarks to leave on the freebie table. If there are any extras (or, depending how successful they are, if I print more), I'll probably leave some at Arisia. And hopefully that will trigger enough sales of my CafePress merchandise to recoup my initial investment.

And I have put some money into this. I've been dealing with some hoaxers over the last week, who were treating identity theft as performance art, so consider this fair warning: I do intend to aggressively protect my intellectual property rights here. Just FYI.

Anyway, it's late. I'm tired. This really has been years in the making, so now it's time to see whether the effort pays off...
