Jackson's Garden:

In the 1830s, Captain Isaac Jackson, head of the math department, designed formal gardens for the school.
This plaque lies just outside the entrance. Any clue what those symbols represent??

The Thyme Clock:

Notice how carefully the sculptures and fountains fit their surroundings:

Charles P. Steinmetz Memorial Park:

This is the site of his former home and laboratory. Apparently, he talked the realtors into a price cut because this ravine cut through his back yard, but secretly loved the ravine and would've paid extra for it.
